Philanthropy.

Leadership begins with us.

Bringing SONshine to our community.

  • Lighthouse for Women and Children

Our philanthropy of choice is Lighthouse for Women and Children which is a part of the Ventura County Rescue Mission. Lighthouse's purpose is to serve homeless women and children with transitional living by providing a safe space. Resources offered include—but are not limited to—shelter, food, and recovery programs.

  • Campus Involvement & Community Service

Pi Chapter believes in cultivating influential leaders of the future. Aside from our philanthropy, we also believe in serving the CSUCI campus as well as Ventura County. Through active research and networking, we extend our help to those in need. Whether it is co-hosting a campus event, participating in a community clean-up, or conducting a toy drive, Sigma Omega Nu sisters are always willing to serve. Our sisters are required to complete mandatory service hours to ensure we are giving back to our community.

  • Professional Development

Through our leadership positions within the sorority and professional workshops, we develop skills that enhance our professional development. This, along with the leadership experience we gain through service, helps prepare us for future professional environments.
